Yasu Kojima is Japanese artist and architect photographer.
Born in 1977 in Tokyo, studied at ICP( International Center of Photography), General studies program, NY.
He had been awarded ICP Director’s Scholarship 2007 while his program at ICP and The Japanese Government's Fellowship for Artists 2011.
Yasu has special interest of urban landscape of big the cities related with architecture. He exhibited in New York, Tokyo and Berlin.
Yasu moved to Berlin to participate in international artist in residency program at Künstlerhaus Bethanien in 2015.
Since 2015 he lives and works in Berlin.
Selected Contemporary Japanese Photography vol.13 „Tokyo Tokyo and TOKYO“ ,Tokyo Photographic Art Museum 2016. His work is permanent collection of Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.
